Workshops

The M2M training program includes a series of skills workshops, grand rounds and medical meetings. The workshops are a mandatory component of the program and include well renowned presenters on a variety of relevant topics.

Assessment

Interns are required to undergo performance assessment after 5 & 10 weeks of all 10 week rotations. Assessments are conducted by the interns’ supervisor. Performance assessments are conducted to:

• Provide regular informal feedback to prevocational doctors
• Complete mid and end of term prevocational doctor performance appraisal and assessment (in conjunction with other unit medical staff) and discuss with the prevocational doctor
• Identify the poorly performing doctor/doctor in difficulty and refer/manage with support
